A miss in

- Keep the exact freshness rule only for groups not yet seen.
- Remember recent misses until the next
reload(), becausewhatsapp_account_changedalready triggers a reload.- Rate-limit reloads per group JID.

Name the real path parameter in the rejection text.
The extractor deserializes group_id, but the 400 response says "missing id path parameter". The doc comment on Line 33 also says "an id path parameter". Clients that read the error see the wrong parameter name.

Fix the copied form wording in the WhatsApp group lookup.
This method was copied from get_form_access. A malformed group id now returns BadRequest("Invalid form ID format") to API clients. The parameter is also still named form_id, here and in AccessRepository::get_whatsapp_group_access in crates/entity_access/src/domain/ports.rs. Unlike its siblings, the method also has no #[tracing::instrument(err, skip(self, user_id))], so its database failures are not traced.

Add cleanup for whatsapp_send before parent deletion.
"User" and team deletions cascade to whatsapp_linked_account and whatsapp_group. The RESTRICT references from whatsapp_send can block those deletions when sends exist. Use an explicit cleanup path, or change both references to ON DELETE CASCADE.

Validate the rebuilt entity_entity_type_check in a separate transaction.
ADD CONSTRAINT ... NOT VALID takes an ACCESS EXCLUSIVE lock on entity. This migration runs VALIDATE CONSTRAINT in the same transaction, so the lock stays in place for the full table scan. lock_timeout = '5s' only limits how long the migration waits to acquire the lock. It does not limit the scan.
entity is the shared owner table for every owned-entity type. While the scan runs, every read and write on entity is blocked. That includes every project, document, chat, and agent-session creation during the rolling deploy.
The repository rule says to "validate large table checks in a later transaction." Squawk reports the same problem.
Keep the DROP and the ADD ... NOT VALID in this migration. Move the VALIDATE into a separate migration generated with sqlx migrate add.

Return false for WhatsAppGroup so project filing matches move_one.
This arm returns true, so add_entity_to_project and remove_entity_from_project accept a WhatsApp group. move_one rejects the same type as unsupported. The service can therefore add a WhatsApp group to a project that the move path refuses to move. Like Database and Form, a WhatsApp group is not something you file into a project, so this arm should return false. In the Rust code, only the two project add and remove methods call this function, so the change affects only those paths.

Bound or directly address message lookups.
When an unseeded handle reads an old or missing message, fetch() requests every timeline page until it finds the ID or exhausts the group. replyTo() creates such a handle, so a normal quoted-message read can make an unbounded number of requests and stall on a large group. Use a group-scoped message lookup endpoint, or define a bounded lookup with an explicit not-found contract.

Do not retry unsupported MIME types.
DssDocumentStore::store classifies an unmatched MIME type as LinkedError::Unavailable. MediaService::import_pending then retries it with exponential backoff until the attempt limit. The batch continues to later files, so this does not block subsequent imports.
Return LinkedError::Invalid for unsupported MIME types and treat invalid errors as permanent in import_pending.

Bound the wait after a hard stop in drain.
After stop.cancel(), either at the batch deadline or at past_deadline, stopped becomes true. This disables the deadline branch. The inner loop then waits on join_next_with_id() with no time limit.
A runner sees stop only at the top of its select!. Several steps run longer than that:
dispatch_sendsloops over claimed batches, and each send has a 30 s timeout.release()runsdisconnectandrelease_lease.
So a stopped runner can keep the drain running past drain_deadline. ECS then kills the task at 120 s. In-flight sends end as unknown, and the drain telemetry is never logged.
stop_all already applies stop_timeout and then aborts. Apply the same limit here.

Add #![deny(missing_docs)] to the new crate.
This is a new crate's lib.rs, and it does not deny missing docs. Add the crate-level attribute next to recursion_limit.

Add a backoff before the listener retries after an error.
PgListener::try_recv tries to reconnect on the next call. If Postgres is unreachable, every call fails at once. The loop then:
- logs a warning,
- sends
Signal::Resync, - calls
try_recvagain immediately.
Each Resync makes the supervisor run rescan() and send AccountSignal::Resync to every running account. Each account then re-reads its pairing, its deferred events and its sends. A database outage therefore becomes a tight retry loop that multiplies database load across all accounts.
Wait before the next reconnect attempt. Send Resync only once per reconnect.

Why: Adopted WhatsApp groups are ordinary Macro entities, so SDK users and code-mode agents should list, read, adopt and reply to them with the same handle model as other entities. Pairing stays in the app: it requires a person's own session (layer 3). What: - `packages/sdk`: `macro.whatsapp` with account, remote-group, group, message, send and upload handles. Replies take an idempotency key and expose delivery state; `unknown` must be reconciled, never resent. HTTP tests in `tests/whatsapp.test.ts`; README section. - Coverage: removes layer 4's `storageBacklog` entries now that they are wrapped. - `packages/code-mode-sdk`: WhatsApp joins the existing channels discovery topic (the catalog caps topics at 32); discovery tests. - Regenerated SDK reference (`packages/sdk-docs`), Deno SDK bundle and the code-mode documentation/operations catalogs.

WhatsApp linked devices, one layer per PR. Merge bottom-up; each PR is based on the one below it, so its diff is only its own layer. Layers 1-9 are
