What this integrates

This combines four reviewed contributor PRs by Dante-dan on one current-main head:

The commit retains Dante's authorship. The only integration repairs are the regenerated Pi copy of agentic-engineering and one registry digest computed after all three canonical skill edits. Curated trigger phrases remain unchanged at 33/311 skills.

Roadmap fit

Advances ECC 2.2 multi-harness distribution guidance and the M1 canonical context-registry contract. ECC retains authority over tool permissions, task scope, canonical state, and evidence. This PR changes documentation and skill instructions only; it does not implement connector writes, live workflow execution, or a new marketplace cleanup command.

The marketplace removal, scope, uninstall-data, and JSON-list claims were checked against the official Claude Code plugin command reference and environment-variable reference.

Verification on e06c9d2

  • npm ci --ignore-scripts --no-audit --no-fund: installed 203 packages.
  • node scripts/build-pi-core.js --check: up to date, 132 skills and 24 commands.
  • node scripts/ci/validate-context-profiles.js --json: 311 skills, 34 projections, 33 curated trigger skills, digest 39089684ccfc8ccf4505ec01c9715c51955d9c98b39d0ef5e59b825737c5c2cb.
  • node scripts/ci/validate-skills.js: 829 skill directories valid.
  • node scripts/ci/validate-carrier-closure.js: 10 projections, 35/35 relative specifiers resolved, no escapes, dynamic requires, or package imports.
  • node tests/scripts/build-pi-core.test.js: 1 pass, 0 fail.
  • node tests/docs/install-identifiers.test.js: 68 pass.
  • markdownlint on the six changed Markdown files and git diff --check: pass.

No live Claude marketplace removal or connector write was performed.

Sources: affaan-m#3689 affaan-m#3691 affaan-m#3692 affaan-m#3693. Preserve Claude marketplace migration guidance, tool-result boundaries, scoped workflow authority, and bounded batch preparation. Regenerate the Pi projection and recompute the shared registry digest on one main head.

📝 Summary

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Documentation
    • Expanded the migration guide with backup precautions, steps for moving marketplace settings, handling duplicate entries, and verifying the new registration.
    • Updated workflow guidance to clarify how to assess operation outcomes, preserve diagnostic information, respect authorization and scope, and verify results before proceeding.
    • Added guidance for bounded sequential tasks, including checking prerequisites and conflicts, handling uncertain outcomes, and carrying verified progress through handoffs.

The pull request expands the plugin migration guide and adds guidance to three skills. The skill updates cover document-read classification, bounded sequential work, and dynamic workflow scope. A context-pack registry digest also changes.

Changes: Plugin migration guide

Layer / File(s) Summary
Transition warnings and duplicate identifiers
docs/MIGRATION-1X-TO-2.0.md
The guide warns that removing the last installation can delete saved data. It also notes that old and new plugin identifiers can cause duplicate skills, commands, and hook executions.
Marketplace migration and clone cleanup
docs/MIGRATION-1X-TO-2.0.md
The guide adds steps to preserve settings, migrate marketplace declarations, verify registration, and check temporary clones before removal.

Document-read result guidance

Layer / File(s) Summary
Read outcome and document validation
skills/agentic-engineering/SKILL.md, pi/core/skills/agentic-engineering/SKILL.md
Both skill copies distinguish transport outcomes, operation status, document validity, and field comparison.
Classification examples and uncertain outcomes
skills/agentic-engineering/SKILL.md, pi/core/skills/agentic-engineering/SKILL.md
Both add illustrative classifications and guidance for maintenance handling and reconciling uncertain write outcomes before retrying.

Bounded sequential work guidance

Layer / File(s) Summary
Bounded-work rules and shared inputs
skills/parallel-execution-optimizer/SKILL.md, pi/core/skills/parallel-execution-optimizer/SKILL.md, manifests/context-packs/skill-triggers@1.json
Both skill copies define bounded scope, shared-input reuse, per-record checks, conflict protection, and outcome verification. The registry digest changes.
Execution, resumption, and evaluation
skills/parallel-execution-optimizer/SKILL.md, pi/core/skills/parallel-execution-optimizer/SKILL.md
The examples cover replanning, connector-change handoffs, and proposed evaluation checks.

Dynamic workflow scope guidance

Layer / File(s) Summary
Scope, tool bindings, and authorization
skills/dynamic-workflow-mode/SKILL.md
The guidance separates action-to-tool bindings from entity scope and describes handling unclear scope, unavailable operations, and authorized binding changes.
Harness inputs and handoff fields
skills/dynamic-workflow-mode/SKILL.md
The template adds tool bindings and entity scope to its inputs, instructions, and handoff fields.

RetriggerView in GreptileConfidence Score: 5/5

[Medium impact] The reviewed documentation-only changes are safe to merge; no actionable issues were found.

Summary

This PR adds migration and workflow guidance without changing executable behavior.

  • The migration guide walks operators through moving ECC settings without losing unrelated choices.
  • Agents check whether a tool operation succeeded before comparing document fields.
  • Dynamic workflows keep tool permissions and selected entities with the work as it moves between steps.
  • Agents can reuse shared preparation for bounded batches while checking each record on its own.

No actionable issues were found. The documented JavaScript example passed 25 focused classification checks. Pi generation checks, context-profile validation, and the Pi build test passed on both the base and head revisions. The trigger-manifest comparison confirmed that only the registry digest changed; curated trigger entries remain unchanged. No live marketplace removal or connector write was performed.

The reviewed changes are safe to merge within this documentation-only scope.

T-Rex validation blocked

Evidence upload was blocked because this session exposes no artifact-upload or attachment-publishing operation. The checks completed, and their scripts and captured output remain at local artifact paths. No confirmed upload is claimed.

Remove the legacy plugin from every installed scope.

claude plugin uninstall removes one scope and defaults to user. A project- or local-scope installation can therefore remain active. If the old marketplace declaration is already absent, step 3 skips marketplace removal but still does not uninstall a legacy plugin recorded in installed_plugins.json. The old and new plugins can then load together.

Enumerate the installed scopes and uninstall everything-claude-code@everything-claude-code from each applicable scope. Skip only marketplace removal when the declaration is absent. (code.claude.com)

Preserve diagnostic evidence in the adapter output.

The guidance requires retaining the operation name, correlation ID, status, error details, and original response. decodeRead drops that context for tool_error, unknown_response, and invalid_document, and retains only result.error for operation_error. A caller that consumes this result cannot reliably diagnose failures or apply the documented recovery policy.

Return a redacted diagnostic object with every non-document outcome, or state that callers must attach this context before classification leaves this boundary.
