fakemetrics generates a metrics workload with fake data, that you can feed into kafka, carbon, etc.
This tool is now maintained in the metrictank repository, as part of the rest of the tools. See mt-fakemetrics
To install it, run this:
go get github.com/grafana/metrictank/cmd/mt-fakemetrics
