I noticed that @tcpdumpfbacke (I really like that username) has updated the .gitattribute file, and if you’re happy with that, I’d like to contribute to it

By the way, does the file .travis.yml still serve its purpose? And what about using readme.md instead of README.md? It’s not a big deal, of course, but it makes your repository easier to read.
