Summary

  • Subtree-merges overjoyde/bear-fincrime-toolkit-2.0's full history into llm-toolkit/, preserving its commits.
  • Relocates its CI workflow to .github/workflows/ci.yml (paths fixed for the new nesting) so its pytest suite and ground-truth evaluation gate keep running.
  • Adds a short cross-link section to the root README pointing at llm-toolkit/README.md.
  • No functional changes to either project's code; no dependency unification (see docs/superpowers/specs/2026-07-20-llm-toolkit-merge-design.md).

Test plan

  • llm-toolkit/tests pytest suite passes from its new location
  • llm-toolkit/data/synthetic_generator.py + llm-toolkit/evaluation/evaluate.py run clean against llm-toolkit/evaluation/thresholds.json
  • Diff outside llm-toolkit/, README.md, and .github/workflows/ci.yml is empty
  • tests.yml (AMLGentex's own CI) passes on this PR in GitHub Actions
  • ci.yml (relocated toolkit CI) passes on this PR in GitHub Actions

A practitioner toolkit for using LLMs in AML/CTF transaction monitoring and
KYC/EDD work - paste-ready Claude profiles, Claude Code skills, single-task
prompts, an EU/Swedish regulatory grounding layer, and real Python detection
pipelines run against a synthetic data generator with injected typologies
and ground truth. MIT licensed.
Co-authored-by: Johan Övergaard <johan.overgaard@atg.se>
Adds a project-native hero and a workflow diagram (assets/readme/) that
walk synthetic data through the four detectors to the role-aware,
CI-gated evaluation, with the real precision/recall floors from
evaluation/thresholds.json. Restructures the README around Value -> Proof
-> Mechanism -> First use -> Detail and adds real license/CI/Python
badges. Content of the existing sections (What this is/isn't, Why Claude,
Quickstart, layout, scope, license, contributing) is preserved, only
tightened.

Documents the subtree-merge approach, CI relocation, and README
cross-linking agreed during brainstorming.
git-subtree-dir: llm-toolkit

…t correctly

The "Run tests" step ran python -m pytest -q llm-toolkit/tests from the
repo root, but the toolkit's tests do top-level imports (e.g. "from
pipelines import run_pipeline") that only resolve when llm-toolkit/ itself
is the working directory. This caused ModuleNotFoundError at collection.
Add working-directory: llm-toolkit and use the toolkit-relative test path
to match how the suite ran in its original standalone CI.
