This PR adds a sample MIT license to the project to resolve the licensing issue discussed in #134 .
Currently, the repository doesn't have a license, which defaults the code to exclusive copyright and creates legal uncertainty for the community.
I've chosen the MIT license as a starting point because it's simple, permissive, and very popular for open-source projects. Of course, you can choose another license if you prefer. The main goal is to have one in place.
