Craftery

Yoon Ha Lee (yoon@yoonhalee.com)

Resources and journaling/write-ups (mostly but not solely DIY arts/crafts-related), reading/resource lists (including fiction, sf/f, primarily but not exclusively book/articles) etc. This is for my own convenience and contains some of my working notes. I write sf/f, I read about a lot of things, and I need a distraction while dealing with Health Stuff.

With regard to reading lists: I don't generally provide full bibliographic information (especially when I have multiple e.g. ebook vs. print versions floating around). Generally, $AUTHOR and $TITLE will be searchable. If I note the year of publication/release, it's usually because it's in a topic area where the date of publication might well affect the work's usefulness and/or applicability to whatever is available for $TOPIC currently, most notably in computers, software and/or game development, or similar. In a few cases, I might note additional bibliographic information for my own reference in cases of disambiguation; did I ever tell you about the time I was tasked with finding a link to a high school literary magazine's website (if one had ever existed) where the place of publication and/or high school was unknown other than "in the USA" and the title of the literary magazine in question was Visions? I spent an hour, reported failure, and moved on with my life.

If something isn't recommended but is on a list, the likeliest reason is that it is of more specialty/niche interest or that I simply haven't had a chance to re/read it yet.

If you would prefer a different organizational scheme or to add your own annotations, please do fork this and roll your own.
