fix(cache): preserve notifications and batch resume refreshes - #8954
Parking browser storage blocked notification callbacks until a tab became visible.
On return, individual queued commits also triggered repeated refreshes of
cache-driven views.
What
Deliver live notification callbacks before persistence, with linked receipt,
queue-wait, and cache-application tracing. Mark listener failures without
interrupting other listeners or replaying alerts.
Coalesce broad cache-change hints across the coordinator backlog while preserving
individual commits, replies, reset fences, dependency updates, and mutation
settlements.
Cover client exchange ordering, parked notification delivery, trace linkage,
and catch-up batches; update notification and cache lifecycle guidance.
## Why
Browser cache parking left incoming notification callbacks waiting on
storage until a Macro tab became visible again.
## What
Dispatch live notification patches before persistence in cached and
uncached GraphQL clients. Keep cache effects and channel reconciliation
ordered, isolate callback failures, and prevent alert replay on resume.
Add receipt telemetry, parked-storage regression coverage, and document
the browser delivery boundary.
## Why
Resuming parked browser storage published each queued commit separately,
repeatedly rebuilding cache-driven views during foreground catch-up.
The engine queue alone cannot see requests still in transit.
## What
Coalesce broad cache-change hints across the coordinator backlog while
preserving individual commits, replies, reset fences, dependency pushes,
and mutation settlements. Preserve hydration and search scopes, bound
batches, and flush accepted hints before epoch changes or caller departure.
Add catch-up regression coverage, batch telemetry, and lifecycle guidance.

📝 Summary
Summary by CodeRabbit
Bug Fixes
Notifications are now delivered as soon as they arrive, even when the browser cache is paused. They are not delivered again when the cache catches up.
Returning to the app after background updates now refreshes cache-dependent views in batches, reducing repeated refreshes while preserving individual updates and responses.
Documentation
Updated guidance for verifying notification delivery and cache refresh behavior after returning to a hidden tab.
The coordinator now coalesces broad cache-change and hydration hints across in-flight requests, with defined flush conditions and telemetry. GraphQL notification callbacks now run on subscription result receipt, before cache persistence. Added tests and documentation cover coordinator catch-up refreshes and notification delivery while cache writes are parked.
Priority: Normal
Merge Risk: Moderate · previous review 7e7d1
Notification delivery is wired in both client modes, but failures during parked-cache catch-up remain difficult to trace, and the integration tests would not catch a missing receipt exchange. Address the tracing gap before merging.

Explanation
The title uses the conventional commits prefix "fix(cache):" and is 61 characters, under the 72-character limit. It summarizes the two main changes: notification delivery before persistence (the notification receipt exchange and publishNotificationPatch) and batching of cache-change hints during resume (CacheChangeBatch and CoordinatorCore coalescing). Both appear in the changeset.

Explanation
The description states the two problems (parked storage blocking notification callbacks, and repeated refreshes on resume) and lists the changes: early notification callbacks with tracing, coalesced cache-change hints, and test and guidance updates. All of these match the changeset.

Assert receipt-exchange wiring in the GraphQL Soup integration tests.
The receipt tests validate the exchange in isolation. graphql-soup.test.ts replaces it with a marker object, and its mocked createClient checks only cache and subscription exchanges.
If either production client omits the receipt exchange, the current tests still select the same mocked cached or realtime client. Add assertions for receipt presence and ordering in both client modes.

## Why
Receipt traces ended before serialized cache work and did not record
listener failures. Client composition tests could also miss a detached
notification delivery path.
## What
Carry result-local receipt context into queue and cache-application spans
without delaying callbacks. Mark isolated listener failures on receipt,
cover phase ordering and errors, and assert exchange placement in both
client modes. Update tracing guidance.
