We build cryptography that outlives the quantum threat.
Hybrid classical + post-quantum protection for the assets and identities that matter most.
IdenQ is a deep-tech security company from Spain working at the intersection of post-quantum cryptography, digital identity, and digital asset protection. Our multidisciplinary team brings together specialists in cryptography, bioengineering, security architecture, and Web2/Web3 engineering.
Our thesis is simple:
Everything encrypted today with classical algorithms can be harvested now and decrypted later, the moment a cryptographically relevant quantum computer arrives. Long-lived secrets — keys, identities, inheritances — need quantum-safe protection today, not on Q-Day.
So we build systems where hybrid encryption (classical + post-quantum), zero-knowledge proofs, and threshold access (no single party ever holds the full key) are the default, not an afterthought.
| 🛡️ IdenQ Shield | Duress-resistant protection for digital assets. A decoy-wallet architecture: under coercion, a duress passphrase reveals a plausible wallet while the real one stays cryptographically hidden — and unprovable. |
| 🧬 IdenQ Legacy | Quantum-safe digital inheritance. Heirs prove who they are with DNA-based verification, zero-knowledge proofs validate identity without exposing raw data, and decryption keys are split so no single party ever has full access. |
| ⚙️ Quantum-safe core | The hybrid cryptographic engine underneath: classical primitives (AES-256, elliptic curves) wrapped with NIST-standardized post-quantum schemes (ML-KEM / ML-DSA), designed for crypto-agility as standards evolve. |
Post-quantum migration is too big a problem for closed doors. The whole industry has to re-key the internet in the next decade — and that only works in the open. As we grow, we're committing to publish and maintain open tooling in the field we work in:
- 🔎 Quantum-readiness scanning — tools that audit codebases and dependencies for quantum-vulnerable cryptography (RSA, ECDSA, static DH…) and map a migration path to PQC.
- 🧩 Hybrid-crypto building blocks — practical, well-documented reference implementations for combining classical and post-quantum schemes (KEMs, signatures, envelope formats) without foot-guns.
- 🕵️ Zero-knowledge identity patterns — proving who you are without revealing what you are: ZK-based verification flows for sensitive identity data.
- 📚 Knowledge base — engineer-friendly guides on PQC standards (FIPS 203/204/205), harvest-now-decrypt-later threat modeling, and crypto-agility, in English and Spanish.
Our open source principles:
- Security by transparency — cryptography you can't inspect is cryptography you can't trust.
- Standards first — we build on NIST PQC standards and open formats, not proprietary lock-in.
- Docs are part of the product — every project ships with threat models and honest limitations.

We're just getting started in the open — and we'd love company on the way:
- ⭐ Watch this org to catch our first public releases.
- 🐛 Open issues on any public repo — bug reports, threat-model questions, and "have you considered…" are all welcome.
- 🔬 Security researchers: found something? Tell us privately first at idenq.io and we'll credit you — responsible disclosure always.
- 💬 Talk PQC with us — if you're migrating a system to post-quantum crypto and hit a wall, open a discussion. Sharing the scar tissue is the point.
