iSCSI connect overlay for Apache CloudStack 4.22.1.1 (Debian/Ubuntu packages) KVM when primary storage is HPE Primera, 3PAR, Alletra Storage MP, or Alletra 9000 (WSAPI v1).
Stock CloudStack already manages those arrays as Provider = Primera. The in-tree host scripts only rescan Fibre Channel (/sys/class/fc_host). On an iSCSI-only hypervisor that directory is empty, so attach never sees the LUN. This package rescans iSCSI sessions instead, and does not log out the target when one volume detaches (one IQN, many VLUNs).
A sidecar JAR registers the same Primera adapter as AlletraMP so Add Primary Storage can show Alletra without renaming an existing provider=Primera pool. It is not a different API. It is not Nimble OS (Alletra 5000/6000). ACS Protocol = iSCSI (one shared LUN) is the wrong control; use Provider = Primera or AlletraMP.

Stock Primera stays installed. Existing pools with provider=Primera keep working. New pools can use provider=AlletraMP if you want that name in the UI.
You can install only the KVM overlay and keep creating pools as Primera. The management JAR is optional naming.
