Circular — Material Passports

Photograph a supplier receipt during construction. Circular logs what was purchased, then calculates embodied carbon and salvage value. The output is a digital birth certificate for the building.

Open the app, go to Scan receipt, click the Pacific Copper Works invoice, confirm the lines, then open Birth certificate. Salvage value jumps because copper is the most recoverable metal on a typical job.

What it does

1. Capture a receipt (sample invoices, file upload, or pasted text)
2. Match line items to a material library (ICE / industry A1–A3 factors)
3. Accumulate spend, kgCO₂e, salvage value, and recoverability
4. Issue a printable building passport

Carbon factors are indicative, not a certified LCA. The point of this layer is a primary as-purchased record that an LCA or EPD workflow can refine later.
