Promote the validated staging environment into main.
This is a deployment-promotion PR, not the version-release PR.

Superseded by PR #472. The protected staging branch could not be force-rebased; #472 is an exact-tree linear promotion snapshot based on main and preserves the required staging content without bypassing repository rules.
