Resizable component bug

The resizable component in shadcn is not up to date with the react-resizable-panels package. Things like PanelGroup are now called Group and PanelResizeHandle are called Separators. Seems like an easy fix. Best

This mismatch happens because shadcn/ui pins react-resizable-panels@^2.0.0 (which uses the legacy API naming like PanelGroup, Panel, and PanelResizeHandle), while react-resizable-panels@^3.0.0+ introduced the simplified primitive names (Group, Panel, and Separator).

If you've installed react-resizable-panels@latest in your project and are getting import/type errors with shadcn's component, you have two quick ways to fix it:

Option 1: Update your local components/ui/resizable.tsx (Recommended if on v3+)

Since shadcn copies code directly into your repository, you can update the wrapper exports to alias the new primitives:

If you prefer keeping the default shadcn component untouched:
