Hello there,
The volume is always on maximum when streaming from my phone (Asus ZenFone 8 with default Android 13), and I'm not sure if the volume is supposed to by synchronized with Android or if it's a missing feature?

This is also how it works for me. It actually was useful in my case because I was able to mute phone while it streams to speakers in the same room.

I'd suggest the following solution:

• add a checkbox that enable volume sync
• if checkbox is enabled, volume from device is applied to the stream
• if checkbox is disabled, app shows its own slider which can be used to change stream volume

I think it is possible to have independent volume control for remote audio sink on Android, like how you would control volume on a Chromecast, no?

Not sure if this should be a separate issue, but it would be cool if it was possible to mute the selected app.

Eg, If I stream a music app from roc droid to another roc receiver, I would like the music app to be muted on the phone but not other apps. AFAIK this is currently not possible?
