I'd love folders!

Hey there,

first off, I’m absolutely in love with OpenDeck! It’s super easy to use, and the native plugin support is just awesome.
One thing I might be missing (or maybe it’s not there yet?) is the ability to nest buttons inside folders. Similar to how it works in the official Elgato software.

Having folder support (even with folder nesting) would make organizing setups much easier and cleaner. I think a lot of users would appreciate this feature.

Hello! The reason this isn't implemented yet is because OpenDeck profiles can already do this when configured correctly, using the Switch Profile action. To make it easier, if you put forward slashes / in profile names, they are organised into groups based on the first part of the name.

Hey, sorry if this is a dumb question, but can you explain the / in profile names?
when I try to add a / into a profile name it goes red and doesn't seem to work. I would love to group buttons and would love to figure out if this is the way to do this

You write folder_name/profile_name.
I think it should also be possible to have nested folders.

You can't have nested folders, but as he said, group_name/profile_name.
