Delegator UX - Draft Prioritized Backlog #697

@ECWireless

Description

@ECWireless

The draft prioritized backlog will translate the teardown, scenario analysis, gap specification, and design brief into an initial ranked set of Explorer improvement recommendations.

Each item will be tied back to evidence from the competitive analysis, scenario testing, or Explorer gap specification. Items will be scored by expected impact, severity, implementation effort, dependency chain, and confidence of supporting evidence.

The working backlog will live in the Google Sheet so it can be sorted and refined during the project. A draft version will also be posted to the Livepeer forum for the required public comment window.

The draft backlog will distinguish between:

  • Quick wins suitable for retro grants
  • Larger items better suited for follow-on RFPs or dedicated implementation scope

The goal of the draft backlog is to give the Review Team and community a clear, evidence-backed set of recommendations to react to before the final prioritization is locked.

Deliverables

  • Working backlog tab in the Google Sheet.
  • Initial ranked list of Explorer improvement recommendations.
  • Evidence links connecting each item to the teardown, scenario analysis, gap specification, or design brief.
  • Scoring for expected impact, severity, implementation effort, dependency chain, and confidence.
  • Classification of each item as a quick win or larger follow-on item.
  • Draft backlog posted to the Livepeer forum for public review.

Acceptance Criteria

  • Each backlog item is specific enough to be reviewed and discussed publicly.
  • Each item is tied to supporting evidence.
  • The draft backlog clearly distinguishes quick wins from larger implementation items.
  • The scoring system is understandable and consistently applied.
  • The draft backlog is posted early enough to allow the required public comment window.
  • Community and Review Team members can understand why each item was included.
