Hello!

It would be nice if the Widget has an option to ignore any problems with Certificates.

I use this plugin to communicate with one on-premise Tool and there is installed a Wild Card Certificate for our main domain, but my communication is with the local FQDN, so the Host of Certificate isn't the same as requested URL (xxxx.domain.com <> tool.ad.local)

The option to ignore any error would not helps, because after that you can see only the label.

Yeah, that should be straitforward enough to implement.
i could add a allowInsecure option to the widget mixin, which if set for a specific widget (that you trust the host for), when used alongside useProxy, then it would then skip the certificate verification check.
I can let u know when implemted and released :)
