Hello dear NoScribe Community,
I have calculated how to estimate the transcription duration, please share your Data below to make the calculation more precise, I would appreachiate it.
[transciption for NoScribe in hours]=6,262409277x([number of cores applied via task manager]^-1,6117945254)x[number of cores applied via task manager]x[Length of the file for transcription in hours/24]
What is being calculated:
[transciption for NoScribe in hours] / [Length of the file for transcription/24] = [factor]
[factor]/[number of cores applied via task manager] = [per core]
[per core] over [number of cores applied via task manager] regressed according to "Potenzielle Regression" https://help.libreoffice.org/latest/de/text/scalc/01/statistics_regression.html y = exp( b + a1·ln[x1] + a2·ln[x2] + a3·ln[x3] …) with R=0,99153
You may do the following for multible windows if you wish.
I pretty much did this on Windows:
//[If you have more than one window open follow the = marks.]
= Go to Task Manager and search for the spesific PIDs of NoScribe in Details.
= Try to evenly apply all cores to the amount of windows opened. If they share a core count them as 0.5 for 2 shared windows, 0.3 for 3 shared windows etc. ...
Once completed please share the Time it takes (will be reported at the end of transcription), the length of the File you transcribed and the number of Cores in duty for those tasks.
Please use HH:MM:SS format for Time
Example:
original legth: 01:42:22
transcription: 3:23:11
Cores: 11
[I made those numbers up]
Hope this helps. I think that may prove useful for some.
