• Designers should feel empowered to give the level of specificity in-code that they are comfortable with. (General rule should be 5-min rule—If it takes you more than 5 min to give the piece of feedback, capture you desired outcome and move on)

• Know your roll as designer in the conversation
• Developers should use their minds to create the best technical solution to match your desired outcome
