I'm scrobbling from 2 sources (my DAP and my Navidrome instance) and these sources sometimes have differing metadata for the same album. I'm slowly but surely ironing out these metadata conflicts but when I encounter something I have yet to get around to the merge tool in Koito comes in handy. But when merging albums I've noticed that the tracks contained in said merged album that have the same name don't get merged together.
Example: I merge 2 instances of the Back in Black album by AC/DC. Then when I click on the album I see that the top tracks section contains Shoot to thrill twice. One from each albums that I merged together previously. So I manually merge them together. All good. Now repeat for the rest of the tracks.
I've also noticed that this also occures when two artists are merged.
Example: Merged Myth & Roid with MYTH & ROID and the Nox Lux album appeared twice. Them merged the albums and had to also merge the tracks one by one.
Describe the solution you'd like
I know that my unusual setup and metadata issues are the main a cause of this problem but it would be nice if there was a function that merged tracks with the same name (case insensitive) when albums were merged. And the same with albums and artists (case insensitive but making sure that and <album name (Deluxe Edition) are not merged automatically).
Why would you like this feature to be added?
It would greatly enhance the merge tool, save time and alleviate arising confusion from people scrobbling from more than 1 source.
