Request: Official Ruby SDK for the ElevenLabs API

Hi ElevenLabs team,

ElevenLabs currently offers official SDKs for JavaScript, Python, Kotlin/Android, and Swift, but no Ruby SDK. Ruby/Rails is still a major stack for backend and API-driven applications, and right now Ruby developers have to either write raw HTTP wrappers by hand or rely on small, unofficial, single-maintainer gems with inconsistent coverage and no guarantee of long-term maintenance.

An official Ruby SDK would give the Ruby community the same first-class experience JS and Python developers already have — consistent auth handling, typed responses, streaming support, and confidence that it'll stay up to date with new endpoints and models.

Thanks for the request, officially supporting Ruby is something we'd consider. Can you elaborate a bit on your use case? Would you want a framework agnostic Ruby SDK or are you looking for something that supports Rails?

My primary use case is building AI-powered Rails applications with voice features, including text-to-speech, speech-to-text, and low-latency streaming.

Rails is my first priority, but I think it would be great if the SDK were framework-agnostic so it could benefit the entire Ruby community while still providing an excellent Rails experience.
