bug: issues with Grammarly messing with the DOM

There are quite a few extensions that can mess with the DOM and as a consequence, mess with the app virtual dom permanently. Nicolas was having this issue today. I know there are techniques to mitigate the number of issues related to this problem but don’t have them at hand right now.

Still recording the issue to not forget.
