Once the applock interface appears for locked apps, if you tap on the 'Use Pin Code' option, the entire interface collapses, and the user can enter into the application without verification. The app lock doesn't work for that app again, even if you lock the phone and try again. Also, you can bypass the lock interface by pulling up recents app and choosing the locked app again.
