Formal education often leaves students with theoretical knowledge but without exposure to real-work environments or professional soft skills. Traditional apprenticeships exist (for example, the Igbo apprentice system) but are informal and often lack tracking, accountability, or measurable outcomes.
Meanwhile, small businesses, artisans, and SMEs often need short-term support (say, for overflow tasks or seasonal assistance) but cannot afford formal full-time hires or internships. They lack a trusted way to onboard and evaluate potential entry-level workers.</problem_statement>
