Describe the bug
When you load a previous recording, then press record and stop record, what you have is only what you just recorded. The loaded part is lost.

Even if not a bug but feature, this makes record button no different from "starting a new file". I thought that obviously we can append and append more sequences to the same big recording, if we need to take some pauses in-between.
