First of all, great project! Really want to try it out and I have bought 5inch ESP32 display recently -- I didn't pay much attention to the list of supported boards (my bad!) so not quite sure if my board is supported or not... I was able to upload project to the board using "Crowpanel HMI 5in / 502727" option but unfortunately the display does not work quite well -- big square over the info and screen flickering. I do understand that this board has experimental support so will be glad to use the one I have to help with debugging/troubleshooting. I'm attaching the video and image with information I have and I hope it will help.
